Well, second place of my favorite in Brooklyn!

I do jog, walk, run, shout, take pictures, anything you can do here. What more if you're with friends and people from all over the world.

Dumbo is the area accessible from my walk from City Hall/Manhattan across the Brooklyn Bridge and is an area that had grown so much more active than what it used to be a decade ago.

The most beautiful experience for kids and adults is this beautiful carrousel in a crystal cage with such magnificent sights of Manhattan. We also walk in the riverside stoned beaches the kids trough stones to the water and take out shoes to put their feet on sand Really a sensory experience.

I've walked around the area a few times during different seasons of the year. It is nice near the river for walking. There are an increasing number of shops, cafes, and restaurants as the months go by. Also a good theater and the Bargemusic. Nice park when weather is good. You can take pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge if that's... More

I visited at night which meant that I could not enjoy it as much as if it was daytime, as it was pretty dark. Only really went to go down and take pictures and visit a pizza restaurant. Would be nice to visit in summer.

DUMBO is a wonderful neighborhood for locals and tourists alike. For a tourist I would recommend spending an entire afternoon exploring, then walking up the Brooklyn heights promenade and on into Carroll Gardens, or taking the promenade at water level on a weekend (it can get really hectic during good weather, especially in warmer months). Restaurants, boutiques, refurbished old industrial... More

Had good choices of restaurants. The Manhattan skyline was amazing. Got to see it both during the day and at night. Nice walk along the river.

Love the neighborhood. All the industrial buildings and cafes are so beautiful and with a great atmosphere. Love wandering around Dumbo.

DUMBO is a relatively new district in Brooklyn. Well, the area has always been there, but its industrial use declined over the years and it became somewhat run down. But over the last 20 years or so it has been undergoing fantastic renovation and conversion of old buildings. It now has lots of new techie companies in the old warehouses,... More

Pleasant to walk around, some nice restaurants, great views of the city, unfortunate that there are so many busy roads running through this area though.
