One of the best views of Manhattan can be seen and enjoyed here. There are many little grocery stores to pick up refreshments to enjoy while walking the Promenade. The neighborhood is beautiful, so take some time to enjoy the charm of the Brooklyn Heights area. This is one of my favorite places in all of NYC and not because... More

Great place to stroll,or sit and take in the million dollar view of Manhattan. Great park spaces below- grilling, sports and a food truck area. I love to go here when we visit my daughter in Brooklyn.

This is probably one of my favourite things we did in New York hands down, and it was free!! We visited the Brooklyn promenade the day after Christmas. The weather was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky and it was warmer than expected for that time of year (10 C or 50 F). We wanted to see the NYC... More

This is one of my favorite places to come. I walk my dog here and sometimes just sit on the benches. It's great for fireworks viewing, seeing the choppers over the city, checking out the bridges and seeing the ferries/statue of lib.

New York has two skylines, Midtown and Downtown. The Promenade, in Brooklyn Heights, is a great vantage point to see the Downtown skyline of the city. The Promenade is actually the top level of a terrace with a double decker highway right beneath it. Access is free. Across the East River in Manhattan, is the skyline, but to the left... More

As iconic a location as the Empire State building or Central Park. After being there, you'll start to realize how many movies, tv series use the Promenade for its dramatic and breathtaking perspective on the upper harbor and lower Manhattan. No other place where we can look in one direction and see the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State and Chrysler buildings... More

I enjoyed this path very much, but as we sat on a bench and saw the building that had already taken and will soon rob more of the full Brooklyn Bridge view, it made me feel very sad. Progress but at what cost?

Unreal. The view just didn't look real, they looked like big blocks of legos to me haha, that being said it was incredible, had a fab time with my sister and cousins. Wanna go back during the summer to have BBQ there. It's definitely a place worth visiting.
