The Prospect Park Zoo is a nice small zoo.My favorites are the sea lions. Make sure you get to see one of the feedings: 1130, 2 and 4. Another great exhibit is the Hamadrayas baboons, who have a nice size, natural looking setting with rocks and a waterfall. The petting zoo has sheep and goats. There are machines which dispense... The Prospect Park Zoo is very nice to visit mostly in the summer but I had a very nice time on a winter day. The zoo was packed with parents just wanting to get out of the house. They were celebrating Chinese New Year so they had all sorts of activities going on that day. The Chinese puppet show was... More

This is a great little zoo for the toddlers. The best time to go is in afternoon. Sea lion feeding was a very good entertainment. They have a small barn where children can feed the animals. They could offer more deals - price wise.

Lovely small zoo representing great value. Whilst the zoo may not have the big animals, it is beautifully laid out. All the animals are well looked after and it's well cared for. A great way to spend a couple of hours, as a single traveller, couple or family.

As you'd expect in a zoo of this size - the range of animals to see is very limited. The sea lion show and feeding the water birds were the high points.

It's a great zoo for an afternoon trip. It's a great small zoo to take kids under 7. If you need to kill an afternoon this is the place.

Prospect Park Zoo is perfect for my rambunctious boys who spend all day running and jumping. I'm not worried about them getting lost as the zoo is small and really all the exhibits are situated in a circle. There is no possible way for the children to wander about or for you to worry about their whereabouts. The Bronx Zoo... More

Set in the verdant surroundings of Prospect Park, this little zoo is incredible. It's small and so manageable for young children. Try to stay for the sea lion feedings. Easy to navigate with strollers. Incredible little play areas. The most interesting exhibit was the prairie dog section where children can tunnel into the ground and pop up like one of... More
