Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is a perfect Sunday treat! It's filled with unique menus and twists on old favorites. Everything we had was so flavorful. We tried the shrimp, a DELICIOUS pork taco, BBQ wings, and a dumpling sampler. We certainly wanted to try more but was just too stuffed. Overall, it was well worth the trek.

Here are a few tips: 1. Bring cash. Some places take cards but they are few and far between. You don't want lack of cash to come between you and these edible delights. There are ATMs located throughout the area but I personally prefer not to pay exorbitant ATM fees when I can avoid it. 2. Come early. Food sells out! So you may have your eye on what you see someone eating and then you get through the maze to find it's sold out. 3. Be adventurous. Try different things. The portion sizes are not too crazy so you can get a few things to sample. 4. Stay awhile. My husband and I got a seat near the water and people watched while we ate. Then we talked and laughed...and then got more food. We spent most of the day there. 5. BYOW (bring your own water)! Why pay a lot for water when you can just bring it? Plus, that way you can use your coins to purchase some of the fun, unique beverages there. 6. Bring your patience. There are lots of people and long lines. But I experienced that most people were very friendly and festive. But if you come in starving, you may have to settle or be frustrated. Either way, no fun. So pack some patience and you'll be fine. 7. If you're going to drive, there is a parking lot nearby. Honestly though, if you don't mind walking, drive around and find street parking. All of the parking rules are suspended on Sunday. So you typically can find something in the area (here is where you will begin to unpack some of that patience I mentioned in #6). It was an added bonus to be to walk off some of our grub as we strolled back to our car.

All in all, a great experience that's highly recommended!! Happy eating.

Spent an hour or so enjoying the view of the city from the Brooklyn side of the river. More food choices than anywhere I have ever been. Fun, not a lot of shade, great views, great food.

It is a food market worth a visit, you will get all trendy local eats in one place! Ramen burgers, artisan almond and peanut butters, doughnuts, coffee, ice-cream sandwiches, scotch eggs, hot dogs etc. Most foods are made on the spot and served in relatively small portions so you can try more. So if you don't have time to run around all eateries, come to this market!

My family and I were visiting the area for a couple of weeks, and some local friends took us here for an afternoon walk - so many choices it was hard to decide. The simplicity of the set up was deceiving, because the food was legitimately good! It was the end of the day, but there were definitely still vendors offering some tasty options - plan to take your time and relax because it can be busy and crowded, so if you are uptight about it you won't enjoy yourself. Great fun, and would do it again. To enter is free, only cost is the food, prices vary but nothing was too expensive. Definitely options for any budget.

Looking for something to do on a gorgeous Sat. Or Sun. Then this is the place to visit. Great vendors with amazing prices and what a view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Don't forget to Stop For the Lobster Roll and fully loaded veggie burger. Great prices and family friendly.

I personally hate crowds but really enjoyed this event. it takes place on the waters edge overlooking Lower Manhattan. Dozens of vendors are there to stimulate your palate. Most vendors are really good but not all. a few highlights would be: The Ramen Burger. don't think, just try it and come back and rate my review or let me know if this review was helpful. next to the ramen burger is a really good french fry stand where you can indulge in thick cut fries where the inside are like mashed potatoes and they are doused with Parmesan shavings and truffle oil. do i need to say more? Fughetabout it!
