I was visiting Red Hook in Brooklyn and wandered into this small-batch chocolate factory. It was very cool. They had samples, and one of the women working there showed me a bit of the factory. I'll be back on my next neighborhood trip.

I am not kidding, by the end of the Raaka tour you'll feel like "whoa, I can now tell the difference between craft and mass chocolate, because I saw what happens to beans in detail, and then I tempered and moulded the chocolate myself too!"...More

Our guides were well-informed and willing to answer questions about everything, from chocolate-making in general to what Raaka did differently to Raaka's history. We also...More

There's plenty of street parking in the area, as it is a warehouse zone, and not a residential area.
