Very pleasantly surprised by renovations in the theater, beautiful and true to age-lots of gold, reds, velvet, takes you to time of burlesque and early movies. Big airy space, high ceilings, beautiful venue for concerts. There is a huge parking in the back and lots...More

On Sunday, Dec 23, the Hip Hop Nutcracker was to begin at 6pm but doors did not open until 5:45 which did not allot time for ticket holders to enter the sold out show in a timely fashion. I arrived at 5:30 myself and did...More

This was my first visit at the theatre and I wasn't greatly impressed. My friends and I were shown to the wrong seats by staff in the beginning. Then Tyrese was being rushed through his performance which was very unsettling for us. It was weird...More

The theater looks amazing inside, a real example of the gilded age architecture. However, the line at the entrance was huge and as a result many people, including us, did not make it inside in time for the show. We felt bad about disturbing everyone...More

This theatre seems a bit of place & time! Beautifully restored theatre back to the glory days. Huge, fully restored, comfy seats and truly worth seeing. Almost like a Radio City Music Hall theatre smack in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Come, catch a show like I did...More

This is my new favorite theater. $95 million went into the restoration of this theater to its original 1920s glory. Yes, it’s ostentatious compared to modern design but it really just blows you away how much detail and work went into it. The acoustics are...More

My daughter and I traveled in from NJ to see Death Cab for Cutie in October, and we had an excellent experience with this theater! To be honest, I was a bit nervous about going because I wasn't sure of what the neighborhood was like...More

Absolutely jaw-droppingly gorgeous and opulent theater. I'm not a religious person, but it is an absolute miracle that this beauty survives in the middle of an enormous dump of an area. Saw Tenacious D here last night and it was my first time visiting. Plenty...More

Attended an event here. It is beautiful. You can almost feel the history inside. The staff was friendly. It was a full event so lines could be long but everyone who worked there was nice. The bathrooms downstairs are configured a bit like a maze,...More

Just went to a very nice German pub/restaurant 15 walk or 5 minute drive away. It's called Werkstadt. It's on Coney Island Avenue between Church and Beverley.
