You cannot hike upper or lower antelope canyon without a guide. It is on Navajo property and there is also a $8 fee charged for entering (this was included in our total price--we didn't have to pay separately). Of note, our guide told us that people used to be able to hike the canyons without an authorized guide but in... More

Having seen the mesmerizing photos on social media about this place, I immediately put this on our list of things to do when we decided to go to Arizona. I am so glad I did. Firstly, you cannot explore on your own; you have to book in advance with a tour company. Most of tour companies have already factored in... More

This hike is great. Upper Canyon is flat and beautiful. Not very long and with a great guide to show you how to set your phone or camera on the perfect settings. The pictures are fabulous, you just point and shoot. Go in February on a sunny day around 11oclock. Don't go in July, too busy and hot. Hike the... More

On my road trip across the western states I stopped here. What immediately angered me was that this canyon is private, it sits on Native American land...and they charge something like $10 just to enter their parking lot next to the canyon. I am being asked to pay money to enter a parking lot in the desert and then also... More

You've seen the pictures (if not do an Image search), now go see it in person. The upper canyon is an eighth of a mile long with a perfectly flat floor, an easy walk. It is like a cave without a roof, very deep and usually only a yard or two wide. Sunlight only penetrates to the floor of the... More

We rode our motorcycles all the way to page AZ. You have to go downtown to the main office to catch a pick up truck that will take you there. Once there , it does not look like much from the outside but once you go inside it's amazing. Make sure you have plenty of battery & sd card because... More

I thought the Grand Canyon (South Rim) was breath-taking. But Antelope Canyon was STUNNING! Take the professional photographers' tour, well worth the small additional fee in order to have the luxury of taking the most amazing pictures EVER! In celebration of our silver anniversary, I had one of these photographs blown up and lasered onto an aluminum board to showcase... More

Stunning place, all tours are the same as they go to same location, take you to canyon, walk you through it. The 2 main company alternate their time so to limit the overlap which is great. This is a must do, simple as that. Both companies take bus tours and be cautious about that. We choice antelopeslotcanyon.com with chief Tsosie... More

I had the most amazing experience to be able to walk thru this Canyon. Breath taking!!!! This was an optional tour we could take while on our 18 day trip to the National Parks last year. I was in awe as I walked thru the Canyon!! I highly recommend, if someone has the opportunity to visit--don't pass it up!!
