The tour cost is a little pricey, but worth it if you have the time. Excellent ride around lake with naration.

The owner of our hotel suggested we visit for sunset (which we have been to lazy to do), but it was very impressive also during the day.

It's a big lake - nothing else. Good viewpoint just outside Page for photos. We didn't go down to the lake, which I regret. That would probably have been more fun than just overlooking it.

Nice places to kayak or boat or just visit. Very scenic lake all around. Would take forever to see it all. Antelope Canyon and Lone Rock are very close to Wahweap Marina.

Unexpected amazement. Look into the history and presence of this lake with its maze of waterways. Sit on the shore for a while and feel its unusual energy. Get a fishing pole and enjoy fresh food for dinner.

Having no reservations for the very costly tours operating outside Page and monopolizing both Antelope canyons, we resigned ourselves to the National Park Marina at Antelope point. At 28 dollars per person, the one hour boat tour up Antelope canyon turned out to be well...More

I came here with a group of hikers and we took the boat trip so we could see the Rainbow Arch. The boat ride was wonderful with many great views along the way. The best move is to get to the top viewing area right...More

So there is an entry charge to get into this area, I'm not totally sure why as this is quite an underwhelming area. We went on a boat trip to the rainbow bridge which was nice enough but took a long time. Seems as if...More

We will have to stay two nights in Best Western View of Lake Powell Hotel where is located about 2 miles away from Glen Canyon Dam. Is there any particular water shore where my 7 and 9 years old kids can swim and play? We will do the horseshoe band and lower antelope canyon tour but still have time. I am also thinking of renting paddle board and Kayak from the small shop where many people use. Any advice and experience will be welcomed to share including nice kayaking route...etc.

Also don't miss the Visitor Center on the 89 in Big Water, it has a wonderful display of dinosaur relics found in the area which the children may enjoy. They are very helpful and can steer you to some lovely drives and hikes... More

Three couples are thinking of renting a houseboat and was wondering: 1. Where do you fly to get there? 2.Some bad reviews posted about Aramark, are there any other places to rent houseboats through and if so does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks.

I don't know where you would fly to possibly Page AZ or Flagstaff for sure . I would never recommend Aramark to anyone we had an awful experience. I think there is one other rental place on the lake . Good luck Lake Powell... More
