We had a good laugh when someone showed us where the hanging gardens are.. frankly, it looked terrible. The hike though was great, very quiet with an awesome view around and we also got to see the sun setting when on the trail. Not too...More

We went on a hike to see these hanging gardens. The hike was pretty boring and hot. When we got to the gardens we expected more than some vines growing on a wall. Nothing special, in my opinion.

We took this hike when it was 103 degrees and full sun. It is an easy trail -- look for shell fossils embedded in the sandstone. We were covered with wicking clothing and wide brim hats, used trekking poles (handy for the little climb to...More

We did this hike in the hottest part of the day but it was still enjoyable. If you have time go early or later in the afternoon

Walk to hanging gardens is actually more interesting than the actual garden area. We went around sunset and left the trail area and went down to the lake and viewed sunset.

If you find yourself in Page with an hour or so to fill, definitely consider this hike. It is easy to find, with a nice hiker sign pointing to the trailhead from the highway just east of the dam. The walk is easy and pretty...More

We stopped at a shop. Was told to do this hike. Loved the view of lake Powell. Hike was not overly difficult. At least not most of it.

Short hike to see hanging plants on rocks. We needed a short hike after dinner and this one fit the bill. Easy hike.

This is not crowded in the Fall. My wife and I walked to it in about 30 minutes and it is really like an oasis. Big overhanging cliffs with abundant ferns and greenery. Lots of birds and other wildlife. It's not trashed badly but we...More

A local lady told that there were orchids growing among the ferns. However, because it was too early in the year for them to be in flower, we were unable to positively identify them.
