We've been here multiple times. The walk to the falls is paved, so it's easy walking. The falls are beautiful in spring, when the snow melts and adds to the water coming over the falls (have seen the falls coming from several locations). It's fabulous...More

One of the magnificent natural wonders of Minnesota..and you can see Canada from there! The rangers are great at informing you of the area and the flora.

It's a long drive to the park. Totally worth it. The falls is amazing. Great place to have lunch and start your trip back. I will hit this in the winter. An easy paved hike to the falls.

Enjoyed the visitor center with its great turtle entrance (floor), clean bathrooms, and the interesting history on display further inside. The paved and boarded walk to High Falls was enjoyable, especially with the surrounding autumn leaves! A definite “must see” for anyone passing through.

This was a great stop for us. First of all, the visitor center is spectacular. The tile floor in the entry way is done up to look like a turtle (very well done!). There is a museum-like area that is top notch. There is also...More

Minnesota's North Shore is lined with fabulous state parks, most built around rivers and waterfalls. This is the most northern one (on the border with Canada) and the falls are both easily accessible and very impressive! When the sun shines, you should be able to...More
