It's cute and there's variety of shops for everyone. You can walk here if your hotel is just a 1/4 mile. You're better off than driving because you'll save time. Words of advice: Do not come to Gatlinburg during Presidents Day weekend if you're looking for a nice, quiet getaway. It's too crowded due to some convention.

We come here several times a year and always hit the village shops. Specifically I go for the sock shop, but while we're there we also check out the other stores including the art galleries and leather shops. They do have an oil and vinegar shop, in addition to a hot sauce shop, which is enjoyable too. There are religious,... More

We walked the Strip the first night we arrived and at 8pm, entered this area. Loved the quaintness of the stores. Quite a few were closed, but we figured that was the lateness of the hour. Came back the next day to look over the shops again. Several were closed due to smoke damage and restocking thanks to the wildfires... More

The Village is one of my favorite places in Gatlinburg. There are many quaint shops and cool places to take pictures. We love the Donut Friar. It is amazing to walk down in the mornings grab some donuts and coffee and sit by the fountain and eat. There is also a great candy store where you can watch the confectioners... More

Following the horrific fires, a lot of us have ventured to Gatlinburg to try to help the local economy. This area is so busy now that you really need to leave your car in the parking garage on the outskirts of town and then walk in to be able to see and enjoy everything and have a good experience. We've... More

Beautiful scenery during the holidays. Shops are great and vary. Well worth the trip to see. In fact, all of Gatlinburg is beautiful during the holiday season!

The Donut Friar is here! This is a small beautiful place off the main street of Gatlinburg. A must place to walk thru to take pictures and see the flowers. There seems to always be flowers in this area. The lights and decorations are always beautiful. It is a place to unwind and sit down away form the crowds. You... More
