We got on the tram in the morning about 10:30 we knew it was going to rain later in the day. But it actually started as soon as we got to the top of the mountain. They do cram up to 120 people into each of the trams, and there are very few seats. The trip only takes 9 minutes... More

It's been maybe 8 years since being in Gatlinburg. I remember visiting Ober Gatlingburg when I was younger and I had a blast there doing the alpine slide and riding the aquarium aerial tramway. After returning, they changed the tram cars and added a mountain coaster. Other than adding or updating a few things, it felt "meh". It was interesting... More

We did the tram ride and it was a great way to see Gatlinburg. It wasn't pricey- $13/person and it was well worth it. It tickles your stomach a bit at first but you get used to it. You are high above the mountains and can see really far out on a nice day! The tram can fit 120 people.... More

Wow what a wonderful experience. A couple of information things first. The $13 round trip price ticket is good for 48 hours so go early in your trip and then go again the next day. this attraction is great no matter the weather. Up on top there are many things to do for family's and younger people, but not much... More

We rode the Ober tramway over to Ober Mall and Ice rink. This was my first ride on a tram and it was a little scary at first. Halfway through the ride, I started to feel a little more relaxed and was able to look out and enjoy the view. The driver/tour guide was very knowledgably and made us feel... More

The tram is a good experience. The whole family enjoyed it. Feels like we are in Switzerland. We saw a wild bear from the tram. Would give it 5 stars if a hair cheaper or they didn't try to pack the cars so full. But definitely worth doing and the tickets are good for 2 days.

The Aerial Tramway is one of our most popular activities, and while the cars can hold up to 120 people we usually don't put more then 65-80 people on per trip. Part of our reasoning for this is that we do want to give everyone an opportunity to see the amazing views from the Aerial Tramway. More
