A great rainy-day attraction near Wallops Island, the center conducts launches of its model rockets.

Definitely had a bunch of hands on acitvities for kids and plenty of material for learning. I would recommend going to the theater to watch the globe presentations!

We stayed in the area overnight on our way to Va. Center was small but a nice quick visit. Check their calendar. Kids can launch rockets on first Sunday of the month.
