Known for its massive annual plantings and bronze sculpture, this 7.5-acre garden is a popular and relaxing retreat. A Wedding Gazebo adds an air of elegance, a man-made re-circulating stream provides texture, movement and sound, and a Sensory Garden engages visitors in an interactive landscape experience. A variety of sculpture placed throughout the garden provides artistic and historic interest. The garden is open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free.

Beautiful and peaceful place to take your family or just to go on a walk by yourself. Very neat and clean! They also have a great place for an outdoor wedding which you can reserve.

Park is great for kids and dogs. Lots to see. Never crowded. Spotless. Our favorite park to take the kids to ride their bikes, scooters.

A lovely, quiet park in the middle of a busy area. Lots of wild birds singing in the trees, a lovely little creek, lots of wildflowers, seemingly a nice spot for wedding photos.

This is near traffic and you can hear it most of the places in this garden but it is very nicely landscaped and even through the noise, it makes for a nice place to stroll.

Visited on a sunny weekend afternoon in April, and was impressed with this lovely park. Take a stroll along cement pathways, enjoying the gardens and statues along the way, or sit and read on hidden seats or swinging benches. It was obviously prom day nearby,...More

Greensboro has a lot of nice parks. This is one of the best. Easy walking on paved trails, much shade for those who like to limit sun exposure. Nice plantings, as with most Greensboro parks. Also try the nearby Bog Garden and the Arboretum.

I can't imagine that there would be a problem about taking personal family photos. They recently have posted signs regarding professional photography, but it doesn't sound as if that applies to you.
