Small but interestng

As National Parks go, this one isn't very large. But there is a lot of history here and the exhibits and outdoor areas cover it well.

Starting with a 10 minute bird's eye video on the developments of the battle, really helped understand the battle. The 30 minute video helped understand how the combatants felt before, during, and after the battle. A very nice museum of artifacts was here too. Then the self-guided tour of the battlegrounds were more real. A good 2-3 hours to do... More

I've wanted to see this since the first time I saw a picture of the Nathanael Green monument on the Internet. All I wanted was to see (and photograph) that so I was very pleased to find out that this is a big, heavily used public park. There is a visitor's center with exhibits, two short films, and a gift... I'm from out of town, behind enemy lines on a business trip, and stopped here because I had a few hours to kill and I saw it on TripAdvisor. Even if you are only mildly interested in American history, I highly recommend this park because it presents a very important part of American history that many people (well, maybe just... More

A wonderful treat if you like history. A major battle of the revolution this is a nice battleground to visit. This is also one of the smallest federal parks. You can tour the grounds, go to the museum, watch the very well produced movie. Small collection of artifacts, but impressive selection.

Since I arrived late to the site, I was unable to take advantage of the auto tour. Instead I was guided to the parking lot that was located adjacent to the entrance so that I could your by foot for a few hours. This was likely a better way too visit anyway. I thoroughly enjoyed traipsing around this vast site... More

I have driven by the sign to the courthouse many times. I do not live in the area and was finally able to visit. The exhibits were nice and it was nice to enjoy a walk outside after.

We had beautiful weather during Labor Day weekend, so we had a great time at the park! We'd always heard about Nathanael Greene, but didn't know much about him (or about the Battle of Guilford Courthouse). There was an encampment of reenactors there the day we visited (men, women, & children), so it was fun to talk to them. We... More

Toured the park while in the area. Great place for Rev war history. Also great place to picnic, walk, and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. If you're in the area this is a must see.
