Great scenery at this park! Interesting geology in a 250' deep canyon carved by a spring-fed river. A five-mile long scenic drive leads to six viewpoints with educational signage. A couple have short, paved walkways suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. At Devil's Hole, a waterfall...More

This state park is conveniently located just off I-84. As we seniors were not interested in hiking, we simply took quick looks at the Snake River Gorge. It was interesting to walk on the pedestrian bridge across the gorge at the Devil's Washbowl, although the...More

Driving on the interstate heading east, you catch a glimpse out of your eye of a spectacular place. This place is Malad State park. We got off of the highway and had to check it out and are very happy that we did. This gorge...More

Seemed overgrown and under used. We were just driving on the backroads and saw the sign and decided to stop. What a site. A deep gorge/canyon on the river. You can walk up to the edge and take a look. The freeway goes right over...More

Nice gorge and waterfall. Worth a stop to stretch your legs and enjoy a few stops. The park is arranged in 6 stops - we didn't stop at all of them but Devil's Washbowl and the last stop are worth it. Parking is free but...More

-This deep canyon is visible from the interstate, but you really can't experience the views or the lovely park without getting off at the Tuttle exit. Our family is from the area and we spend many holidays here, the last one being for Mother's Day....More

This "off the road" State Park was a pleasant surprise. $5 entry fee. The views were amazing and the faults in the earth were something I have not personally seen before.

This was a nice walk to the bridge in which you can walk across, very pretty. We brought a lunch and had a picnic further back in park. $5 entrance.

Due to a lack of signs it takes time to find the entrance road off Highway 30. Once on the spot you will really enjoy the Gorge suddenly opened in front of you! Particularly suited for dicovering the various layers of this part of Idaho...More

There is no camping but great picnic area with a nice clean bathroom. Worth the time to at least stop & explore. Amazing views. Do it early or late in the day due to hot weather.
