Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Like at many beaches in India there is nearly anybody in the water for swimming. People mentioned a maybe dangerous under-current. In the very close by Backwaters you can watch a lot of chinese style fishing.

This is an isolated beach with white sands. You can have a lot of fun while collecting shells. A lot of shells gets washed away and looks beautiful. Be careful while walking barefoot. It has a tourist center and is really helpful. Nice place to visit for couples.

The beach was not so crowded. Most of the visitors were local and enjoying kite flying. You can definitely try one. You become the kid again.

Great place to swim, not a lot of current. Only problem was that there were no sunbeds to hire. Place yourself near the lifeguards and they will gige you one of their chairs. Nice shacks for tea & coffee. Worth a days visit

Can be given a miss.... Lots of garbage around the beach. But water was nice and warm and calm. Sand was soft.

This lace is not very popular, but slowly attracting more people. The beach is some what clean and the sand is white. Parking space is sufficient for the time being, but if the crowd increases, the infrastructure is insufficient. There are few shops and food stalls nearby, but not to the mark of a good tourist spot. Those who do a day cruise at Kumarakam can plan for a sun set at Andhakaranazhi.

This beach is located off the Kochi-Aleppey Rd. It's equidistant from both the cities. The beach is less crowded compared to Aleppey beach

We visited this beach as a complimentary visit, Thanks to Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage resort to take us there. The beach is peaceful, serene and scenic. To my surprise the beach water was clean, the beach is very clean not much people visit here. Part of the beach has sand and part of the beach is rocky, which makes it a perfect blend. You can also spot small crabs here, and they are harmless and were shy. We tried to come near to them but they ran into the sand. :D
A must place to spend a quite evening by the beach.

I did not take a bath as it did not appeal to me. I saw people taking bath but the beach did not look suitable to bath ( when compared to other beaches like Cherai)
