One of the temples we visitied during our travel in Alappuzha - it has traditional architecture and gents should remove their shirts as is the tradition while entering the inner sanctum. It has it's own elephant and vast grounds. Very tranquil and blissful surroundings.

We visited this temple during the annual festival. Every one should visit this temple whenever in Alleppey. There are some restrictions for Non-hindus and Foreigners. There is an elephant belonging to temple. Very huge tusker but well behaved one
