Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were a group of 4 girls that visited Tiger Point around 11 PM in August 2023. We were stopped by some stall owners and since it was raining and extremely misty which left us with almost zero visibility to drive ahead, we decided to stop and eat snacks. Once we got back into our car to leave, we noticed our tyre was punctured. While we managed to get out somehow, the tyre repair shop personnel told us the puncture was intentional and not in the rim but in the middle. It seems believable considering we had changed all our tyres and checked the air right before coming to Tiger Point. Just leaving this here for everyone to take a conscious decision before stopping by any stall in Lonavala - Tiger Point that has a certain “Sachin” serving up snacks to them.

Always ask for price menu at food stalls before ordering anything to eat at TIGER POINT lonavala. They charged us 150 rupees per plate for Maggi and 200 rupees per plate for KANDA Bhajia. This is too much overcharging by locals there. They should put the rate card menu so that people know about what they will be paying but they don't do it so as to cheat people by overcharging.

It was early evening, in off season March. Nevertheless to say, the scene wasn’t great! The view point is flanked with eating joints in steel hutments! The hills were devoid of vegetation and dry all around.

The locals talk about the monsoons being the best time to visit here - when all around is green! And the water too appears in the falls around…

NEVER VISIT. Had the worst experience at this place. We were nagged by the stall owners to come to their stalls and when we went to one of the stalls, someone from the other stall slit our tyre. My friend had gotten his new car out for the very first time and these people just ruined the entire experience for all of us.

You will face heavy air most of the time but area is secured and safe. 50rs parking. Shivalik point has much better view that 500m after this point but there are no safely walls so needs to be carefull.

Tiger's Point is the most famous mountain peak point in Lonavala, I am very fond of this point because from this point you will be able to the full ambey valley.

You will see people clicking pics, the only demerit these days are local people who are taking very huge sum for the nem of parking, they have taken Rs. 500 for our tempo traveller.

Police is also doing nothing.

On the way to Aamby valley road you may halt for sometime to enjoy this attraction. Its nothing great just beauty of nature on hillside. Great views and good for photography lovers. You may also enjoy few roadside fast food snacks. Best is corn and Maggie. Try corn pakodas specialty of this place. Parking is roadside and place is uneven stones and slippery during rains.

I couldn't find a vegan option there. Kids had a lot of fun though riding on the camels and horses. It was okay to see once, though the view isnt something to write home about.
