When we visited in pongal holidays there is no boat jetty trip offered to this rock. I guess it's permanently stopped. I don't think anything special is there on the rock apart from the giant statue to take a snap. Which we can take from Vivekananda rock or even from the beach itself if you have professional cameras . But... More

The view of this statue is magnanimous with excellent view from Kanyakumari band side. This foundation of this is done more than 16 years back, a monolithic stone with great sculpture located on a small island. Try to visit the place early morning. It will be too hot if you visit in afternoons. You can't able to see the statue... More

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Sometimes you know nothing about a place, other than it's important or significant. Some friends and I turned up knowing nothing more than this monument was a tribute to one of India's most revered poets and philosophers. The statue itself is quite awe inspiring, but on top of that, the height of the statue... More

One could see beautiful site of Thiruvalluvar Statue while visiting the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Unfortunately we could not make it to this statue due to low tides. Visited in the morning hours.

The statue can be seen from the shore itself. When there are low tides, the boats dont take you there, so you cannot see it by entering the actually arena but the statue can be watched from the shore itself

We couldn't visit the statue as the authorities had closed the area due to high tides in the sea and choppy weather. But the statue was visible from the swami vivekanad memorial and it indeed is huge.
