There was nothing of any intrinsic attraction there, locals may advise you a direct route to dam from the nearest junction (one with a narrow road straight ahead) but it leads you to another side of the dam and there is difficulty in manoeuvring vehicles...More

The reservoir has not much to see, but best spot for water lovers,it is built by Britishers under Maharaja emperors. Now,the construction of structured are in poor condition.

This is a Dam built about 100 years back by a British Engineer. There is a Park for Children. The water is used for agriculture purpose. You can enjoy with your family.

A must visit place in KK dist. This dam was built during British rule and strong enough to withstand these many years. Its located in a village named Pechiparai and hence the name., aprox 45 Kms from Nagercoil,moreover public transport available

Wonderfull place to view , a small compare to other dam, while going Pechiparapai dam, we can see Chittar Dam-1,2, Good walk is there near the dam.
