Natsepa Beach, is a must visit beach everytime I spent vacation back home. This famous little beach located on Suli Village almost 45 - 60 minutes from the city center, or almost exatcly the same minutes from Pattimura International Airport. Natsepa Beach has changed through times, I visited it as a kids, teenager and adult, it has survived the 1999 Riots, some corners are changed, some new building been builts, but one thing that never change, is its beauitful beach, turqouise water, greens surrounding and its Rujak (Traditional Indonesian fruit dish, with spicy nuts sauces, almost like a fruit salads), is on of the best Rujak in town.

During a good bright weather, spent some of your time here is very enjoyable, there is some activities you can do, snorkling, canoeing (you can rent only the canoe, or canoe with its owner that will take you for short trip), and of course swimming. There is several entrance to this beach. drive a bit farther up the hill, there will be an entrance with little bits of steps but then those few walks worth the serenity and less crowded and more clean beach for you to enjoy, than the general entrance, which is always crowded and not so clean. You need to mentioned also, some of this beach not pure sandy, some of it a bit rocky, and if you do swimming or snorkling watch ur steps, lots of sharp rocks. Watch also the currents and trench, sometimes it looks so shallow but then its deep cos of there is not visible trench.

This beach has some gazebo or little beach house that you can rent, it will be very recomended if you visit with family or little kids, as its more save to keep ur belongging also you dont have to queing for the toilets to shower or change clothes after water activities, public toilets can be very crowded. Beverages and foods are easily to find and on a good prices.

I recomended this beach for those first timer who visit Ambon, esp. if you are a beach and rujak lover, its a must visit for a starter. But please do noticed if you visit during Public holidays come early or you wont get any spaces in the beach, it can be massively crowded. public Transportation available from city and airport to this beach. Have a nice visit!

not much to say, beautiful white sandy beach, warm and calm water. nice place to swim and safe too, even for a kid. but don miss rujak, slice of fresh fruit with a sweet sauce and get young coconut for a drink, thats refreshing.
too bad, as typical indonesia beaches, its not clean since people throw the garbage to the sea. what a mess.

White sandy beach, flat sea in a calm weather, and sunset is a typical of nature beauty in eastern Indonesia, especially in small remote islands. But this one is not too remote actually, situated only 30 minutes from city of Ambon, one of the spice island in eastern Indonesian archipelago. You can dig out the sand in hoping to find buried treasure there. But the real treasure actually in some huts along the road, the rujak (a traditional fruit and vegetable salad dish) of Natsepa. The mixture of hot spicy chili, sweet palm sugar, crispy peanuts and fresh fruits.

My wife and I had a morning stroll routine here everytime we came back home to Ambon for holiday. The beach is reasonably clean and it has complete basic amenities. Dont expect anything fancy here, you will see bunch of local tents serving local foods and fresh coconuts. But thats all it takes to complete your experience here at Natsepa Beach.

The view is breathtaking with blue sea water and white sandy beach. The water isnt that deep and its really kids friendly. Theres a buoy or inflatable tire used as floating tools available to hire.

Take opportunity to get on banana boat too while you are here. Overall, its fun place for a family trip.

About 30mn from Ambon, and 10mn walk from Natsepa hotel, this beach doesn't look like the quiet-turquoise-water-like pictures you might see. A lot of food and drink shacks along it, playing loud music all day, it's annoying.
Water is actually quite clear and ok, although there are trashes here and there. North part seems whiter than South, which is quite dark sand.

Mixed fruit salad with nutty and spicy sauce at Natsepa beach is delicious. The fruits are starfruit, cucumber, mango, pineapple, etc. The rojak is prepared by Ambon ladies
