Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My sister and I are pretty inexperienced open water divers, we had a great dive at the Japanese Wreck. Our guide was awesome, visibility was great and the reef life spectacular. Baliku dive looked after us well. Thanks!

Iju was a fantastic dive buddy and guide. He showed me some awesome creatures I'd never seen before. He was very patient, kind and made me feel safe and relaxed on my dives. We even tackled my fear of night diving together from bad experience in Australia and it was well worth it. Lots of different wildlife to see at night. I recommend seeing the sunrise between dives it is a beautiful way to start the day. Liberty wreck was beautiful but very crowded so best to go very early or try the Japanese wreck which is very beautiful and better if you have snorkelling friends. I experienced thermocline here and crystal clear water. Iju helped me see pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, very well disguised coral like starfish and crabs. Jemaluk bay drift wall dive was incredible and spotted a large octopus. there are too many animals that Iju spotted to name here and I'm rambling. The location is perfect being away from tourists and in local village with Warungs and everywhere easy to get to on scooter. beautiful views from ocean to Mt Agung. Highly recommended. Thank you Iju and baliku dive center. Saya Cinta Bali! (Iju also taught me some language 😁) Please come and visit me in Australia! from Alana

My friends and I had a very pleasant, happy and positive experience at Baliku Dive Resort. The owner (Nico) is very friendly while still professional and highly experienced. He was a very good guide for experienced divers like us (with lots of sightings!), and a perfect instructor for a beginner friend who wanted to discover diving. He managed to transform a little anxiety into excitement and happiness! He also has a very pleasant and well trained staff, with a high level of professionalism. I will definitely go back there as soon as I can plan another trip to Bali!

I cannot recommend this dive centre and Nico enough. My wife was a little nervous having not dived for some years. Nico put her at ease and readily provided refresher training before our first dive. Both Nico and Iju were very customer focused in their attention and selection of the various dives sites they chose from. And very safety conscious. Excellent service. Great dive locations in Amed. I have no doubt that we will be back with BaliKu Dive again. Thank you very much Nico.

This is the fourth time I have dived with Nico and Iju from Baliku. (Have dived with a few different operators and guides North Bali) Set in the best spot in Amed, there is many different styles of dive site from gentle and easy coral, muck diving, current dives, boat dives, night dives and drift dives. Nico will tailor the dives to your level. If an experienced diver and like strong current, all the high level dives will definitely impress, including tech diving. If relaxed and easy diving is what you prefer, a beginner or just like to take it easy, then that is what you will get. Nico is a multilingual safety conscious instructor, and guide. He makes sure everyone is well looked after with safety as a priority, understanding the currents and reading the ocean well. They will keep surprising you with really cool dive sites, all correctly picked for conditions, diver interest and skill level. Iju is patient and caring highly experienced Dive master, speaks English well and is also great for macro photography and always careful showing you the critters. The dive shop is the set right at the Japanese shipwreck and makes an easy shore dive, but any dives along the coast from there to Tulamben are easily catered for. The whole shop is run with wonderful harmony, Nitrox available and good quality equipment for hire. All dive courses are also run and try dives also a good option if you just want to see what all the fuss is about!
They will pick you up from your accomodation for the days diving which is really handy if your not taking a scooter about town! So if going to dive in the area, I am definitely sure you will be impressed with this little gem!
