Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This workshop is a must if you want make beautiful leather items that you would be proud to use or wear. Abenk and Taufik are patient and kind teachers. They cater to all different levels and you work at your own pace. They support your creativity. You can choose to work on a one day project to a four day project. It’s up to you. They teach you beautiful finishing techniques. I highly recommend this workshop ❤️

A complete beginner, I succeeded in making a case to fit my spectacles. I cut and dyed the leather the colour of my choice. I learnt how to use tools to punch holes, cut and glue a lining of my choice and use a two needle sewing technique, thanks to the careful and patient guidance of Taufik.
The workshop is bright and airy, backing onto paddy fields.
With a packed lunch and snacks (water etc. is provided), I took a taxi from my hotel in Seminyak which took about half an hour with the traffic to arrive at 10am andI left at 3pm proudly clutching my spectacle case and, as a bonus, a key ring. A fantastic day!

Fantastic day in beautiful surrounds. The workshop is gorgeous and surrounded by rice fields. Our hosts were awesome and showed us step by step the ropes of leather making but were also super helpful when required and we ended up walking away with a professional looking product.

Hi,
I did a leather working lesson, and ended up making two amazing leather knife sheaths. Absolutely stoked with the design, detail, quality and craftsmanship, and I genuinely learned heaps about how to start doing it on my own next time. Really good value for money. Don't be put off by the disance to Kerobokan, was only 100k in a bluebird each way at peak hour from Legian. Would one hundred percent do it again.

I can call Bali my second home for a few years now. And I’ve experienced a lot on this island. This workshop’s must be one of the single best experiences it only in Bali but ever! They have the experience to know which steps of the process you need assistance with. The homey joglo venue with birds all over and a nice view on the rice fields makes it even better.

Great workshop!
We brought our own ideas, which the two workshop leaders planned and sketched out. We had the originals (passport and notepad) with us to ensure the correct sizes. Under instruction, we cut the leather, punched holes, dyed the leather, glued and sewed it by hand, and finally smoothed the edges, dyed them and waxed them. All of the work steps were well demonstrated. Some areas were professionally embellished. It was a lot of fun and the results were completely convincing.
Thank you for the lovely day!
