More than just the beach, came down to relax watch the sunset and enjoy the local music. Had dinner and drinks while relaxing in the beanbags even had a great foot massage while taking in the view.

This stretch is not as busy as Kuta and you will get to mingle more with the locals rather that be hassled to buy things. I highly recommend Rob's Bar directly in front of the Legian beach Hotel, ask for Sugar (he's in the photo)...More

Its as good as it was 12 years ago. Nice with the lounges available and being able to get a cold beer. 50000 for two loungers was good value.

A must do when in Bali is to wander over to the beach before sunset and great a few drinks while sitting in a beanbag watching the sun slowly set. The colours are amazing. The only downside are the hawkers but if you're firm then...More

Loved Legian beach. Beautiful spot for the sunset. Cheap cold beers and great live music when the sun goes down. Less rubbish and hawkers than Kuta.

In order to lounge and sunbathe on the beach, is it required to rent a chair? Or can you just throw a towel down on the sand?

I want to ask a question that will help all traveler in trip adviser. How do you negotiate a price in the beach for services, and how much is considered an expensive item or service.

Depends on the service or item. My wife and I generally spend the first 2 - 3 days relaxing and browsing for a few hours each day to see what is available, and what, if anything, that we want. We check a sample of markets... More
