We only stopped here as our flight was delayed a day (shame!) but compared to the amazing areas of Ubud, Nusa Lembongan - this place was just like a sightly better version of spain. Kinda dirty beach, so tacky and commercialised its really nothing special...More

Like most of the beaches in the area, Legian Beach is spectacular to look out from, as long as you don't look down. The amount of rubbish on the beach is phenomenal, and makes you not want to stick around. This is certainly not a...More

Visited this beach in February 2018 and was appalled by the heavy plastic pollution of the beach. Although some cleanup attempts were made these attempts were far from effective. Unless the authorities take quick action I would not recommend to visit this place in the...More

Legian beach is far more clean than Kuta beach. That aside, you still need to search for a clean area, as it seems is a common issue with this area of Bali: plastic everywhere. Good waves for surfing, not good for swimming.

I don't know if it is a seasonal thing, but it was almost impossible to walk o.o to the water without stepping on some sort of garbage. Also, there were quite a few people selling stuff and offering rentals all along the beach. I realize...More
