A very kind elderly gentleman answered all of our questions and explained a lot about his church's beliefs and why this property is so important to them. Saw the original stones placed by Joseph Smith to mark where the temple was to be built.

Very Unique Temple. When we went in the gentleman at the desk wasn't overly friendly but when we went into the museum the girl that was in there was very kind and friendly! it was interesting to hear their views and see the history of the church as they see it.

As we were exploring around the Harry Truman home, we noticed this silver spire rising above the trees. Curiosity had us!!! We had to drive to the area and see what was the spire attached to at the base. Surprised by the unique design of the building...Kodak moment indeed!!!

Lots of books and info on church history. I even bought on old hymn book. and spoke to Richard one of the Apostles about the history of temple lot and what is going on now. Cool for hard core mormon history buffs.

We did enjoy visiting here. We found that the guy who was there was nice enough but not overly friendly. It was interesting to visit and hear what he had to say.
