As snorkelling off the beach goes this is pretty good and interesting to see how the Biorock experiment is going. Worth doing if you have a spare hour to get wet

Great dives and coral alive and well! Not far from shore by boat. They have many projects dating back 15 years ago.

amazing and quite interesting project where locals and tourists try to catch back destroyed nature and creating artificial coral reef....very interesting when you compare different status of development.... quite nice for snorceling - and nearly no current so you can take kid with you

We visited the project in October, expecting to see some nice coral. I have to say we expected more. We snorkelled, so maybe it is different when diving, but we saw a lot of dead coral.

The bio reef project is well worth visiting for all of the reasons below. The reefs in this area were bleached during extreme weather in 2014 and much damage has been done in the past - even around the nearby National Park. This project uses...More

Good effort to restore the coral with artificial reefs and electricity. Interesting. Clown fish and lots of other species.

Perfect for getting your feet wet in Pemuteran. The reef project is interesting and the sea life is abundant. Diving down a few feet from the surface will show you even more life if you look close. Live a little. Hold your breath, go under...More
