I went to Safa Surf Camp in May 2022 for one week, and had such an amazing time !! The week was very intense, we had 2 surf classes and 1 yoga class per day, but this is how we improved a lot and managed to have great surf sensations. I went with a friend, both of us were beginners. The lessons given by Fawas were very clear and helpful, we really liked the organization and the theoretical classes between surf practice. The 2 other teachers, Kutty and Rasheed, were very friendly and had great surf advices as well. Always helpful and there for us. And the atmosphere at the camp was so nice, we cooked Sri Lankan dishes all together. I can’t recommend enough this camp, and I will definitely go back !

We have booked individual surf lessons with SAFA Surf Camp, as we stayed in a different hotel. We can highly recommend surf lessons with SAFA. Our surf instructor was Kutty from Arugam Bay. He is a highly professional and experienced instructor. Being a surf beginner, I felt quite nervous about surfing in the beginning. Kutty’s trust management skills, however, made me feel very safe throughout the lessons. I can therefore only recommend to do surf lessons with him, whether you‘re a beginner or already advanced. Also, SAFA surf camp offers accommodation with nice common areas, where you can also do Yoga. Fawas, the owner of SAFA was also very welcoming and friendly at all times. We want to thank the whole team at SAFA for making our stay at Arugam Bay so worthwhile. We will come again!

It is a very nice place to enjoy.. really appreciate their services. Their instructors are very friendly and helpful. I really recommend this. I was with some of my friends, but I feel like it also a great place to come and enjoy as a family or a loving couple.
