Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Should go early or late cause uneducated people could ruin your mood. They just keep a wide spot for selfie with their face is covered by a big hat and sunglass. It makes me sick to see these people.
So I just take some photos then leave, fee is 25k but parking fee is 10k. Ridiculous.

I find Eo Gio an average sea cliff with well-constructed pathways. It is highly rated by Vietnamese tourists, but average by international standards.

Hubby said this is the Vietnamese copy of the famous Jeju boardwalk in Korea - I guess copying is indeed the best form of flattery. The name says it all --- Eo Gio means "Strait of the Winds" also known as the "Waist (due to the curved-in mountain) of Winds" in Vietnamese. Pretty cool.
If you're not into nature, you'll find this is a rather uneventful 10-minute walk up and down the rocky mountains, with crashing waves below.
If you appreciate nature and its wonders, you'll love the blasts of wind constantly blowing at you and be in awe of the crashing waves that caused the gorgeous rock formations, beautiful curves of the beach, and be grateful that someone took the effort to build the boardwalk so you can climb the mountains easily at a cheap 25,000VND (~USD1.10) entrance fee to appreciate nature's beauty.
Just a matter of perspective.
Take note:
It's really cold in the early mornings and evenings after 6pm. Good to visit it before noon... then after that you can enjoy your lovely seafood lunch!
Getting there:
With a phone call, the seafood restaurant (name: Nha Hang Huong Duong/ "Huong Duong Restaurant") 20 metres from Eo Gio's entrance brought us here for free from our hotel. Otherwise, a taxi from most hotels to Eo Gio should just cost you a few US bucks since Quy Nhon is a rather small fishing village/town.

Yes, for its port/beachfront atmosphere, but that is all that is left of the authenticity of the spot... the rest has been destroyed by an enormous luxury resort, the site has lost its charm...such a shame....

Such a beautiful place with spectacular view. The road to get there is not thrilling but can get lost easily without asking the locals. The whole area is quite big and it is definitely the place that nature photographers and nature seekers don't want to miss. There are also sand hills nearby, a beautiful bridge and a lagoon on the way to get here. One minus, rubbish is everywhere since many locals come here to picnic and leave the trash there too. So please keep this beautiful gem clean and do not litter anything.

We were given a map, of how to get here, buy some really friendly local people and students of Quy Nhon. They are part of a group called Quynhonkids English Club. You can find them on Facebook. They can take you to many of the beautiful places around this area. They just like to practice their English with you.
It's over the longest Bridge in Vietnam. Once over the bridge, you can turn left onto the local road, 639. Or go over the roundabout, straight for a while and turn left. This road is a huge desolate but better road than the 639. Look for the signs right to Nhon Ly. On the East side. Could be a little tricky to find but head for the large statue of the lady, at the back of the village. You can park your bike there but make sure you check price because they try to overcharge you (it should be 4000 VND)
The walk up and down on to the rocks is adventurous and great for hiking. The sea is very clear but be careful about swimming as rocks in the sea. (There is a beach nearby you can visit for a swim). Wear some sensible shoes and be careful about climbing over the rocks. Great for exploring. There is a restaurant nearby too, where you can try local fish, but again, ask the price first as can be overcharged.

When arriving, you will need to buy a ticket with 25,000VND/pax. This place is usually crowded so make sure you you come here before 7:00AM to take good photos.

Just a few rocks along the coast, not really much to see and there is no activities there to do . It's quite far from the city. I guess if you got nothing else to do, might as well go and see but don't expect too much

When mentioning an entrance fee it would be very helpful to put how much that fee is.
Written 29 January 2019
It is approximately 1.09 cents which is equivalent to 25,000 VND.
