I hiked this path multiple times each day during the week I visited. Be sure to take all the side spurs. Pause occasionally just to look around and soak in the unique natural scenery. I'm impressed to see all the places where the hot springs have been capped. I'm equally impressed by the places where the water has been allowed... More

Beautiful brick trail with wide, winding steps leading through the hot springs, trees and hills. You end up downtown, with lots of choices of cafes and pubs. Well-lit and peaceful.

Several locations along this path are wonderful for taking some great photo's. The History in this area is rich and well worth the different discoveries you will make while strolling along this beautiful area.

Trail meanders above the downtown area. Beautiful path and highly recommended. There is also a driving trail above this path this is very pretty that goes to the tower.

I had an idea of what the Grand Promenade would be like but it wasn't quite that. It was interesting though to see the covered springs to reduce contamination and the few open springs were interesting. It does not take long so check it out.

We enjoy taking a stroll (because what else would you do on something called a Promenade??) It's a short-ish walk but still pretty scenery even in the winter with actual real springs! Lots of places to sit and people watch, too.

This was a very pleasant place to walk and just enjoy being outside. This is the back side of the bathhouses and in my mind the better side. You can head off of the main walk onto the trails and climb to the tower from here. One of the better parts of the national park.

Lovely walk along a wide promenade, located just behind the Bathhouse Row. As you walk you can see a few places where the actual hot springs are bubbling up from the ground, and on cold days the steam that it creates is so picturesque. You can look into the city, at this time of year it is decorated for the... More

This is such a great little place to walk. It's right behind the bath houses. It offers views of the springs close up naturally coming up from the ground. The steam rising above the moss covered ground. You get to see a view of the mountains as well as cardinals on the trees. As you walk to the bottom of... More

If you go into downtown Hot Springs, you must take the Grand Promenade. It's a perfect respite from the spectacular traffic of Central Avenue and the price is right. The Promenade is a wide paved flat path running parallel to Central and roughly 3/4 mile in length. If you want more of a challenge, the path accesses several trails going... More
