I enjoyed very much walking through the building and outside to learn and observe the "heyday" of these bathhouses! I did not take the guided tour, but there is a lot of informational signage and beautiful displays. Much of the original, flooring, woodwork, stair rails...More

The Parks service does an incredible guided tour into the bath houses and gives detailed explanation of the types of services that used to be offered. It was so informative and really quite enjoyable.

This is the NPS headquarters. You get good information on the entire NPS area, not just bathhouse row. Self-guided and ranger-led tours in the Fordyce are available and FREE. Enjoy the opulence of the early 1900s as well as the disturbingly weird (douche hoses). Beautiful...More

Hit this National Park on our quest to see as many parks as possible. Definitely not what I would consider a typical national park given that it mainly consists of a series of bathhouses on the main street of Hot Springs. However, with that said,...More

We took a free, self guided tour with three kids. This is an early 1900’s bathhouse museum. The stained glass was beautiful and the rooms were historical representations with informational plaques throughout. We spent about 20 minutes here.

Rolandos had a great outside patio that we ate several times with our dog. You have to enter via the parking lot. But it was cool enough to leave the dog in the car while we did the Buckstaff and Visitor center There was... More

Yes it is! You can do it guided or by your self. It is very well set for do it your self, you wouldn't feel like you are missing anything. It will take you 1 hour or so. And I strongly recommend it!

The Tower, The Gardens, lots of lakes nearby to hike around and fish, and I think there's an amusement park nearby as well. We didn't do it but there's a bathhouse you can go into if you need a bad weather day activity... More
