This lake is fun and has much to offer. The Boy Scouts use this site for some activities, it is in a nice location near town.

Lake and rec area is closed (October 2014). Water levels low. Campground in rough shape and only had 3 campsites ( 1 was host?) Save your time and dont drive out there expecting to be pleased. No cell service for ATT.

According to the official Forest Service website, dogs are only allowed in the campground area, and not in the day-use park. Even there, they must be kept on a leash.
