Started our tour at The Monona Terrace Convention Center on Lake Monona and ended up at the UW Terrace on Lake Mendota. We started with a brief discussion of Frank Lloyd Wright's Architecture, the Monona Terrace was designed by Frank Llyod Wright. Moved on to walking through downtown Madison and even though we are life long residents of Madison we... More

Love, love, loved this tour! First of all, the food stops were not only delicious, but we experienced a wide variety of foods. The breakfast empanadas were me fav! Jackie was a great resource on the history of Madison and was a terrific guide on the tour. If you like learning about a place whilst experiencing its food and traveling... More

We spent our anniversary weekend in Madison and tried the downtown tour based on reviews and what fit into our schedule. We are so glad we did! Erica is the owner and was our tour guide. Her husband was also along and they are both very friendly. This tour is well organized starting at the Monona Terrace and ending at... More

This is a great tour for Madison residents and visitors to Madison. We stopped at seven iconic Madison food destinations, so it's a great place to bring your out-of-town guests. We hit so many of Madison's highlights in one afternoon; I couldn't have planned it better myself! I learned a ton about the Madison's history, architecture, and the food scene,... More

Madison Food Explorers is the perfect way to see the city, and try some unique, tasty eats along the way. We walked from lake to lake, getting all the goodness the isthmus has to offer at each stop. I loved learning about the Frank Lloyd Wright history, as well as hearing fun Wisco-only facts during the tour. Erica was super... More

We went on the Lake to Lake Saturday tour and absolutely loved it. Our guide, Erica, is a font of knowledge about food and Wisconsin history and architecture. Even though we live in Madison we learned more about our city on each stop. The food choices were great and carefully chosen to represent Madison. We saw so much in three... More

Not only did we get to sample some great food and enjoy delicious drinks, but we also got to learn a bit more about the city we call home. I loved learning about the neighborhoods around the Capitol that I walk through each... More

We really enjoyed the food tour. There was enough history to make it interesting and yet not too much. The food stops were great, the only thing that was not perfect was, didn't have enough room for all the food and beverages. Our tour guide "Kim" was great. Enjoyed walking through downtown Madison around the square area, and the stops.... More
