I love the Barrymore. Its a great place that have booked some of my favorite bands. However, it needs to up its game to get me back. The sound system is HORRIBLE. I can't even understand the lyrics to the songs from a band I...More

I had heard about the Barrymore and it’s wonderful acts for years and finally had a chance to go. My eager anticipation gradually led to disappointment as the night went on. You have to search for parking throughout the neighborhood. There is a very small...More

We have been to the Barrymore several times. Both times we saw amazing progressive shows: Stephanie Miller and Tig Notaro. Friendly interesting crowds. Can eat/drink in theater. Sound system was great and wonderful feeling of intimacy with performers. I look forward to another great show.

I have always enjoyed the acts I've seen at the Barrymore but the facility is in rough shape. The seats and general condition of the theatre itself is sad. Very musty and in disrepair. Needs some work!

I have seen a great many bands at the Barrymore. It looks pretty much the same as it always has. That is good and bad. You know what you are getting in the building (Usually good acoustics. Beer flows freely) but seats are in terrible...More

Came to town to see a comedy show. She was excellent! Enjoyed the classic charm of this place. We were glad we did the VIP seating.
