Being natives of N.O. , we have driven by "The Columns" picturesque facade many times but this Thanksgiving we had the opportunity to stay in one of her well appointed rooms. The Columns varied history includes being built as a residence,a one time bordello, and even a movie set.The staff was especially attentive and informative which made for a great stay.... More

This place has the perfect patio for drinking and relaxing. It's not the fanciest place but it definitely has character and is a great place to stop for that historical NOLA vibe.

This antebellum home hotel offers everything you need for a perfect NOLA experience. You are right on the St Charles streetcar track to go to the celebrations in the French Quarter and then come back to the solice of The Columns. The music is great, the bar is one of the best in America and the food is amazing southern... More

We enjoyed a fun and entertaining happy hour. The Columns was beautiful and historic. The party on the porch is welcoming and our cocktails were delicious. There is a perfect view of the historic trolley and with beautiful weather I can't think of a better way to start the evening.

I come to the Columns every time I visit NO. This lovely old hotel/restaurant has remained on the verge of decay for many years (first time I stayed here was in the early 90's), which to me, adds to its charm. Now if you want firm mattresses and immaculately clean rooms, this may not be the place for you. This... More

This converted mansion is located in the quiet, sophisticated, laid back Garden District! We stayed here two years ago and loved it just as much as before! Staying here is like walking into the 1920's!!! We highly recommend room 8. It is huge and so romantic, with high ceilings and vintage furniture! The bathrooms are not modern by any means!... More

Visited here for a drink and tea when we first arrived in New Orleans. Such gorgeous furniture and lighting created an atmosphere of warmth. The service was wonderful.

We visited twice during our time in New Orleans and sat on the veranda for lunch and drinks. Nice food and a very relaxing experience. Fascinating to see the local population socialising. Worth checking for opening times - we went for lunch at 1.30pm but wasn't open for food until 3pm. Travel on the street car for $3 per person... More

My wife & I stopped here for lunch the other day while riding the trolley throughout the City. It had been recommended by a local tour bus driver & we are glad we made the stop. Although it was a cloudy & lightly rainy day, we sat on the porch and enjoyed watching the people go by as well as... More
