We were told to start on the 5th floor and work our way down, but when we reached the 5th floor, we were told that we would have to leave that floor, as they were setting up for a wedding. So we missed an entire...More

We enjoyed our stroll through this art museum very much. It's a great collection with much to see! Our favorite part was the exhibit on the top floor of the painting of James Michalopoulos.

Visited after the WWII museum as it is across the street. Well presented art works from the permanent collection and single-artist exhibitions. The right amount of descriptive words on the walls -- helps you understand but not so much it becomes tedious

Landscapes, portraits, craft art by artists one doesn't ordinarily hear or see (I'm from NYC and almost all of the artists were new, and I'm a museum-goer). Not too large. I most enjoyed the ease and quality of the art works displayed Sally Mann, photographer,...More

If you're visiting the WWII museum, Ogden is right across the street. Wonderful Art exhibits in the southern style. Worth the visit.

Loved the temporary exhibit of Michaelopaulos. Surprisingly contemporary works when I expected old stuffy art. Also loved the floor on self taught artists. One woman lived over 100 years and did simple paintings of remembered slave days.

Friendly security guard provided us with chairs to sit in when. We arrived early. The museum has a great display and is very active in youth education.

This museum, adjacent to the WW II Museum, houses a nice collection of southern art. There are three floor of permanent and special exhibits that are well worth a visit.

We just happened to see the Ogden from the WWII museum and decided to visit it. The James Michalopoulos was very enjoyable. I find myself thinking about the exhibit several days after seeing it, so it made a lasting impression on me. Admission was reasonable.

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and
