Went to see a Saints game. Had the time of my life. We sat in the front row on the 10 yard line. Very expensive, but you only live once right? Cheerleaders were in our company the entire game. The fans of Who-Dat Nation are amazing. I was there for the visiting team, we lost, but had an awesome time.... More

Get there early for saints games there's a lot going on outside and so much to do inside. The foods expensive but no more than other stations I've been to. Be sure go inside in time to visit Saints hall of fame. Go Saints

It was easy to get to from the Street Car--only a few blocks walk. A beautiful stadium that is well taken care of. Comfortable seating --any seat offers a good view of the game. Expensive food and drinks.

Went for the Sugar Bowl. Upper level seats are definitely up there. Good concession variety, but prices were pretty steep. don't wait until the last minute to enter the dome, security was thorough and can back up.

We traveled to NOLA specifically for Wrestlemania in 2014. It was an incredible experience! Looking forward to visiting again in 2018.

The Superdome is one of those iconic pieces of New Orleans that you have to experience. I've been twice, once for the Sugar Bowl and the other for the Women's National Soccer team. Both events were very enjoyable although neither match ended the way I would have liked. The workers are very friendly and there are many concessions to choose... More

Beautifully updated since Katrina. Great seating, electronics and lighhting. Audio of official calls on field was often hard to understand. Fabulous hall for pregame party.

We hadn't planned on visiting the Superdome, but got tickets to the Sugar Bowl so we went. It was walking distance from our hotel and since the sidewalks are user friendly, we got to the Superdome easily. Staff was helpful and showed us exactly where our seats were. Food vendors were all around the dome with a map showing where... More

The dome was cleaner and nicer than it was 30 years ago(my first visit). The escalators to the upper deck were helpful. Lots of selection in food vendors. Restrooms were clean.

We came here for the sugar bowl and found it to be a great venue. Plenty of concession stands and toilets and of course the view from our seats was fantastic even being in the top section, felt like we were close and on top of the action. Also great being enclosed as it was raining outside!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
