Looks more impressive in person! Is a sight to see when in New Orleans. A lot of different lighting is used.

The super dome continues to update to keep up with new technology and is home to the best football team in America! Well maybe not this year but they are the right track to get back there.

Went to the Saints game this past Sunday. The Superdome is an awesome venue and is well organized. There were adequate washrooms (men's, can't comment for the ladies) and various places to get food and beer. We had a good poboy and chips for a reasonable amount of money and the beer prices were normal for a pro sports event.... More

Seeing the saints game was a treat! The stadium has lots of unique character and overall a good experience. The concourses were a little crowded but overall real fun.

We had a great experience even though we were rooting for the opposing team. The Saint fans could not have been nicer. Food was quality. Drinks were quality. And the women's bathroom lines were not too lengthy! I can see why NOLA is the number one destination for traveling to see your favorite NFL team. I love that there is... More

Of course you don't visit these types of facilities for the stadium itself it's the teams however I think it's time to doing some additional refreshing.

Fun family event. We paid $34 for upper bowl seats in section 648. It was fun to be at a game where the win was 49 to 21. That helped us feel better about the $4.50 waters, $6.50 hot dogs and $5.75 medium-sized popcorn. I guess that is to be expected at these events.

Nothing open except the overpriced shop. We walked all the way round and it was really disappointing. Sorry to my wife for making her walk so far for nothing

Hubby and I spent the weekend in NOLA and took in a Saints game. Great fun. Get there early and enjoy all the happenings. Champions Square always has great bands playing. Come hungry-the food in the Dome is awesome. Try the Seafood Nachos. Yummy

Went to a Saint's game and it was a terrific, they even won. The outside had a band, DJ, beer, food before the game, it was quit a festive experience. Love going to events in the Dome.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
