Absolutely one of our favorite shops! We always end up stopping by a couple of times when we are in town. We got married in NOLA and instead of a traditional guest book, we bought a Jamie Hayes print and had guests sign around the border. Love this place!

Wonderful art work as well as several other items at very reasonable prices. We have several pieces of the art work from other visits, always finding something new. The woman working there was so very friendly and helpful.

We came upon this place on our last visit and fell in love with it and had to come back a second time. We absolutely love Jamies artwork! And his staff! We had met Amy, one of his employees, on our last trip, and she actually remembered us! She is very knowledgeable in design, patient and kind! And offered a... More

Love this Gallery and the inexpensive ability to purchase prints! Not only is the art very New Orleans-esque, it is very whimsical and creative... I have at least 3 prints framed hanging in my house. Definitely check it out!

We walked into the Jamie Hayes gallery this morning in a hurry, looking for a poster tube to carry on the airplane and were happy to find this gem of a gallery. The artwork was colorful, interesting, whimsical and cheery! The salesperson was so helpful, and not only did we buy a tube for $2 to keep our existing art... More

I love the colors and themes of the artwork. You won't be able to stop smiling while visiting and when you look at your piece(s) when you get them home. I enjoyed browsing the gallery, but truthfully, it is so small that you can see everything in under 20 minutes. There was a work in progress that was drying on one side of the gallery, and the two employees who where there were very informative, but it is tiny.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
