Our guide, Brad, was very good. He was knowledgeable, interesting and articulate. He told fun stories, but he mostly spoke as a learned historian, explaining the history, customs and practices surrounding the cemetery's past and present use. Highly recommended!

The ground is level & the pace is fairly slow. The only aspect I found challenging was the heat. If you go at a cooler time you'd probably be fine. The guides will probably be helpful if you need to take it easy.

Yes, you need a tour. They will not allow you to enter the cemetery without a guide. This is for the safety of the guest and of the cemetery itself.
