Mini Vacation

The staff was knowledgeable about the tour. Not enough time to visit the battlefield nor the cemetery. Overall it was interesting.

rented a cruiser from 2 sketchy workers with marijuana leaf necklaces yesterday. I drove it down the street 4 blocks when the throttle cable stopped working so I had to get out and push it to the side of the road. I called them and told them what happened and they said they would be out in a minute with... More

We've been to New Orleans many times and always wanted to try this. So we finally did. The guy who rented the car was nice. The cars were just terribly maintained. If you went above 30mph, it would very difficult to steer. There are NO shocks. The side mirror had been re-attached with a ziptie and it came off mid-rental.... More

Myself and five family members rented the New Orleans Cruisers this past weekend. The price was good and the experience was great. Derek was very helpful and made sure we were on our way in no time. We rented for 1 hour and rode through the French Quarter and up and down Bourbon St. Be ready to have your picture... More

We first saw these cool little cars while walking around in the French Quarter and couldn't wait to get into one! We were there with another couple and the 3rd day of our trip went to their location outside of the Double Tree hotel to rent 2 cars. We were told to be there at 1 pm so we went... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
