Great place in Mid-City to have a drink , some bar food and see a game. Wonderful outdoor seating areas. Bar area and a wine area. Bar food is pretty good as well. Just put in that food order early if it is busy, it...More

A came to The Bayou Beer Garden after walking the Lafitte Greenway from Louis Armstrong Park and then a couple of hours wandering around City Park so was good and ready for a pint and a bite to eat. They have a great selection of...More

It definitely wasn't what I expected when I walked through the front door, but if you go out back, it's like a beer garden, not a scary dark bar. Good place to try some more obscure localish beers, but they have the mainstream stuff too,...More

Great outdoor beer and wine garden with affordable drinks and specials.. It's a little out of the way. We usually take the street car up Canal, and walk the 3 or so blocks over. Prior trips, it was a peaceful getaway, although on the most...More

Don't be fooled by the dark and divey streetside bar.....walk right through and head outside to the back! Great vibe, tons of seating, and you can also head across the garden to the wine bar. Perfect, relaxing spot to watch the game or hang out...More

We happened upon this place while trying to fight crowds after a morning Mardi Gras parade. So glad we did! The outdoor seating area is fantastic! We loved having a choice of the beer garden or wine garden, depending on individual preference. You go to...More

Well, it is a beer garden, so it has gazillion beers to choose from. But that is not the main reason why we loved it. They (or some small business who works with Beer Garden) sell crawfish, boiled Louisiana style, $12 for 3 lb plastic...More

Absolutely love this place. It's atmosphere, food, and drinks are phenomenal. However, tonight, the bartender in there was Jen, and you could tell she was not trained on an official bar because she did not know what 1800 Tequila was, she did not know how...More

The good: Lots of beer choices and places to sit. They indoor and outdoor seating. Most of it is outdoors but lots of shade. The bad: parking is terrible here! Get an Uber or Lyft ride. I also could have done without Barry Manilow and...More

It's a great place to relax out on the giant patio with plenty of shade and fans to keep cool. Prices were average, but they did have beer bucket specials the day we were there. There is standard bar food available. The patio adjoins the...More
