We booked the tour and got a confirmation email from Katie a week before our arrival. On the night of the tour, all 8 of us showed up anxious to get going, but the tour guide was a no show. We called, emailed and sent texts (which she read, per iphone confirmation) BUT she never responded, gave us an explanation... More

My boyfriend and I were able to join Katie on her Madam's of New Orleans Tour recently. Going into the tour I wasn't too sure about what to expect but after the tour I am so much more knowledgeable about sex work and how it crafted the city of New Orleans. Katie is very knowledgeable about the city's history and... More

Me and two friends took this tour on a Saturday night not long ago - we live in town and this was the most unique tour I've seen in all my years here. Katie was so easy to deal with in setting up the tour, offered a Groupon (and the tour was worth well above that price!), and was extremely... More

Thanks to Katie, I now know so much more about this portion of our city's history than before. Her professionalism was matched by her passion for historical accuracy and entertaining stories. She told the stories with humor and excellent tidbits of information. I liked the way she kept us on our toes with questions throughout the tour. I can't recommend... More

Katie has done extensive research on the contributions of African Americans in New Orleans. Her knowledge and passion come through on the tour.

The tour is about 2 hours and about a little less than 2 miles but has alot of stops so is not taxing for guests. She humanizes... More

I went along just for the company, so was very pleasantly surprised to be entertained and educated about the Madames of New Orleans. Katie knows her facts and she made us laugh. Given the subject, the tour could have been quite bawdy, but she put those times in perspective for us and treated her tour customers and the working women... More
