Four of us went on the Honey Island Swamp tour with Sam and had a really great time. All agreed that it was one of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans. Booked online the day before which was easy and convenient We only saw one gator but he was a 16ft monster and saw several turtles and snakes.... More

This was a GREAT experience! My five friends and I came to New Orleans for a week and went on the kayak tour and it was definitely our favorite part of our vacation. Our tour guide was Mike and he was awesome! The swamp is beautiful and you will get great pictures. It rained during our tour but it made... More

We went on the Honey Island tour. It was great fun. The guide was great. We did not see any gators but did see turtles and snakes. The guide had great historical facts as well as the formation of the swamp.

Great trip with Mike on the Honey Island tour! Knowledgeable, helpful, and fun - all solid qualities in a top-notch guide! The weather wasn't too favorable, cloudy and windy, so we didn't get to see many swamp critters, but Mike sill managed to find and point out a few! This tour was a highlight for my friend's bachelor party -... More

The route we took was picturesque and full of wildlife! We saw cranes, bard owls, gators, frogs, fish, and a dead snake!! PRO TIP: Pay the extra... More

We were in New Orleans for Jazz Fest but wanted to see more than just the city. We did the Manchuc trip and it was well worth it. The guides were knowledgeable about the swamp ecosystem and good about letting those who were more experienced kayakers go ahead of the group. We saw egrets, herons, woodpeckers, owls, turtles, and alligators.... More

It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of NOLA and stay on the water, kayaking through a flooded forest and then Pearl River with its cool shore-anchored houseboats. Good stories from the guide about the formation of the Mississippi delta, its ecology, swamps and bayous, cypress trees. Not much wildlife to see, and the first part... More
