My husband and I were in town for a mini vacation. We chose this tour by luck due to it being our last day in town. We could not have picked a better tour. Daphne was a very passionate story teller and was very interesting and courteous. I would highly recommend touring with Daphne if you are interested in learning... More

Did this tour last week for a better insight into the garden district. This tour lasted 1 1/2 hours and were entertained & informed every step of this tour. Jesse StCroix was delightful and very knowledgeable. There is so much history here! I recommend this tour to get better acquainted with a beautiful section of New Orleans.

Great 2 hour trip through the back streets and dark lanes of New Orleans with city native Jack - he has the voice and steel blue eyes of Clint Eastwood. A great and educational experience. Thanks Jack!

My friends and I decided to do the haunted ghost tour. The tour would not have been enjoyable without our amazing tour guide, Lisa. She was full of knowledge, energy and made the 2 hours fly by. If you decide to take the tour make sure it is with Lisa.

We had Pam as our tour guide, and she was fantastic. Great sense of humour and full of history made interesting. Very knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend this tour and very cheap!

I work with a local nonprofit that recruits and organizes volunteer experiences. Part of that experience includes activities such as ghost tours. In a last minute fit of panic I called Haunted History Tours to make a last minute reservation for 25 people. They dealt with all my craziness courteously; they were friendly, flexible, and helpful. We took the tour... More

We took a haunted Garden District tour. Our guide's name was Eugena. The homes were beautiful and we heard of lot of interesting facts. Eugena also pointed out homes where films had been made and different celebrity homes. We also toured Lafayette Cemetery #1. It was definitely a great tour to get to know the Garden District.

My friend and I took the Haunted History Combo Tour in the late afternoon/early evening with Lisa as our tour guide. The Combo Tour includes an overview of several elements: ghosts, scandalous crimes, vampires, and other local legends. Lisa's knowledge and presentation were amazing. She is friendly and able to handle all questions thrown her way. We especially liked her... More

Excellent! We did the tour last night with Lisa. She was very animated and informative. She kept our interest the entire time. She really knew her stuff and was knowledgeable on her subjects. Would highly recommend this tour.

We weren't expecting to see any "spirits/ghosts", but these tour had little excitement at all. Recitation of history combined with subsequent reports of "supernatural activity". Presentation at each site was VERY RUSHED-- to the point of being difficult to catch all of the words--with no time for questions.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
