Lisa gives a fascinating historical tour of the French Quarter. With her background in anthropology and theater, she is an excellent story teller, giving great detail and making you wonder what REALLY happened. The history is rich and multi-layered. This lady has done her "homework". We took the five in one tour, and would definitely take others from both Lisa... More

We did the vampire tour on Friday 13th under a nearly full moon. Our tour guide was gwydian and he was excellent (although he too spoke very fast so at times it was hard to catch everything he was saying). He had a tough time of it with over half the group consisting of a school group that were obviously... More

We had an awesome experience. We are a young couple traveling from Boston and were looking to get an all-around tour of the French quarter of New Orleans. Trevor, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. He was great. Highly recommend to anyone from out of town traveling to New Orleans.

Took my children ages 5, 11 and 19 on the vampire tour with Lisa. She was an awesome tour guide. Throughout the tour, Lisa was able to keep the entire family engaged with her wonderful ability to tell stories. Lisa was great with children and is very knowledgeable. This was my families first tour and I will definitely be taking... More

Lisa gives an amazing tour! Her theatrical tour is based in an amazing amount of knowledge of New Orleans. Absolutely loved her tour and would recommend it to anyone!

I've spent most of my life in New Orleans, so you might think it's weird that I occasionally go on tours. What you don't know is how much utter BS we locals hear being spouted by some guides every day. Add this to wanting our friends and guests to have a good experience on their visit, while getting accurate information... More

I lost 25 bucks and 2 hours of my trip to New Orleans! The tour take you to the streets in a group and the girls just tell you horror stories. She spoke really really fast, sometimes impossible to understand the story...Actually this is a walking city tour at night, and 25 bucks for it (plus tip), it's insane!!! Not... More

I Andre. I'm very sorry that you didn't like or appreciate the tour. Most people leave our tours with a very different opinion. In fact, if you look through the TripAdvisor reviews on Haunted history Tours, you can see that most are overwhelmingly positive. And just about everyone leaves our tour with a "WOW!" experience. This is also the same... More

Randy was awesome! We enjoyed the stories very much. I learned a lot on the tour. He had passion for the stories he told and was open to questions from the group. I expected a run-of-the-mill tour, but was pleasantly surprised to find as much new information as I did during a usual tour. Please do this tour!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
