Loved the topographical map which showed where the latest sightings of the buffalo were. Ever time there is an update, they update the map, multiple times a day. The movie was excellent and showed pictures of the flora and fauna of the region. Very well done with beautiful photography, and it's never bad to listen to Kevin Costner! The Rangers... More

Well stocked with literature for any interest. Knowledgeable and friendly volunteers and staff. Beautiful lawn and exterior, and the weeks we were there multiple buffalo statues on display before the auction. Glad they have the penny press for souveniers.

Facility is less than a year old. Gift shop and sales are all locate at the Park's General Store about a mile away. SO no food, no gifts but immaculate restrooms, highly sophisticate exhibits and the best film theater I have every see at a State or National Park...it is wonderful! So if you are driving through the Park with... More

We watched a movie and looked at the displays. They have a topographical map of the park which is interesting and gives a good idea of where you are

This is one of the best Visitors Centers I've been to. The displays are very well done and the people are extremely helpful. Take you time and read and learn about the area.

We stopped in here on our drive down to the wildlife loop. The staff here are incredibly friendly and informative! They even have a large electronic type map in the facility, and they place the bison on the map at their last known location within the park. They can answer any question you have and are more than wiling to... More

We made a quick visit here to watch a fantastic 20-minute movie about Custer Park. Narrated by Kevin Costner, it introduces the visitors to the Park and its natural and man-made wonders. The photography is phenomenal. In the rest of the Museum, there are lots of displays, dioramas and wildlife exhibits. We especially loved the interactive one about how a... More
