Great ski area

The ski area is vast with loads of slopes. More blue slopes at Ellmau than at Soll. Slopes very quiet this week, no queues but apres ski a little quiet.

There are lots of chalets/hotels here, a few shops and a small supermarket. Buses run often to Going chairlift and to Hartkaiser gondola. There is easy access from the Hartkaiser gondola to other ski resorts such as scheffau, Brixton and Westendorf which are all linked. All amenities needed are here. Family orientated resort as a big ski school or kinder... More

Beautiful village with breathtaking scenery. Nice and small that you can walk end to end. Few shops with nice souvenirs, lovely restaurants with very reasonably priced food.

If you telephone or email from UK they will source accommodation to your spec and return a selection with vacancies. Always helpful.

Fantastic beautiful scenic place. Was very lucky that when we arrived there wasn't much snow so we got to see the mountains while they were still green and then over night it snowed so by the morning it was completely white. Ski/boarding conditions have improved throughout the week as more snow fell, some Icey patches but that's mainly higher up... More

Loved skiing here as always been a nervous skier. Slopes never seem that busy once all skiers set off for the day. Ski instructors are patient and very caring. Stuck if little snow. You have to go by bus to the next resort. Shopping in this resort very limited but the shops that are here are lovely.

I have been here in August, it's great place to come here with bikes. You can go everywhere you want, great nature, peacefull,... A lot of places to go for a walk. I'am sure that in winter is also fantastic.

A beautiful village in the Austrian Tirol, which caters for skiing in the winter and walkers in the summer. A few bars a mini golf course full golf course play park and numerous walks.

We went for new year and unfortunately the snow was lacking and i think it would have been great had there been real snow. Ellmau is quite low compared to some of the other notable ski resorts. There are many snow machines so this made for a bit if fun In the slopes however it got quite icy! Good family... More

The wild Kaiser is one of the largest and most modern ski areas I have visited but still has that great old school charm. In modern I mean the facilities in old school I mean all the ski huttes dotted all over this vast mountain range. A five minute bus ride from Going takes you to the newest gondola in Europe.... More
