Loved skiing here as always been a nervous skier. Slopes never seem that busy once all skiers set off for the day. Ski instructors are patient and very caring. Stuck if little snow. You have to go by bus to the next resort. Shopping in this resort very limited but the shops that are here are lovely.

I have been here in August, it's great place to come here with bikes. You can go everywhere you want, great nature, peacefull,... A lot of places to go for a walk. I'am sure that in winter is also fantastic.

A beautiful village in the Austrian Tirol, which caters for skiing in the winter and walkers in the summer. A few bars a mini golf course full golf course play park and numerous walks.

We went for new year and unfortunately the snow was lacking and i think it would have been great had there been real snow. Ellmau is quite low compared to some of the other notable ski resorts. There are many snow machines so this made for a bit if fun In the slopes however it got quite icy! Good family... More

The wild Kaiser is one of the largest and most modern ski areas I have visited but still has that great old school charm. In modern I mean the facilities in old school I mean all the ski huttes dotted all over this vast mountain range. A five minute bus ride from Going takes you to the newest gondola in Europe.... More

Ellmau is an excellent little village with much to offer both in the winter as well as the summer season. Easily accessible, it is only an hour and a half away from Munich by road or rail. Bus connections available to the train stations of Woergl and Kufstein. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the village ensures that one feels at... More

Was there before the snow season, it wasn't as nice as Livigno in italy but it was also due to the fact that we were in the first week of the ski season. Ellmau is situated in the ski welt area, along 4 or 5 other towns on the main road. The walk to the accommodation is a little bit... More

The new gondola provides a fast service to the top of the Hart Kaiser. Good skiing even at the end of March.

We stayed in the suite above the bar this year. Very quiet suite with unbelievable views. The renovated rooms are 5 star. This is a hotel on the way up. We come every year for the food mainly but the spa makes it an unforgettable experience. The cuisine is on at least 1 Michelin standard without the price. The hotel... More
