This was our first time skiing at Ischgl. We normally ski at the large French resorts (Three Valleys, Tignes, La Plagne etc) and the higher Swiss resorts (Verbier, Zermatt). We were impressed with the speed and efficiency of the lift system from resort level up to Idalp, and experienced no queues at all, even first thing in the morning. Most... More

I've been taking froups to Ischgl-Samnaun for about 15 years. It's my favourite resort. But last weekend, the weather was bad and, from Samnaun, there were only a small number of lifts open (4 apart from the cable car and the lift to get you to the cable car), with none to the top and no access to Ischgl. They... More

We had a great week in Ischgl and thoroughly enjoyed the ski area. The main red run down can be a little congested but if you pick your time you could avoid the carnage. The places to eat on the slopes were good and opting for the 1st week in January meant there were no queues.

Superb uplift - from the town and on the slopes. Huge variety and extent of pistes with massive off-piste possibilities. The runs back into town are rather steep and can be crowded at the end of the day - avoid by taking the lifts down into the heart of town. There is a huge amount of snow-making hardware on the... Its one of the best skiing areas - especially the price- performance ratio. Its being always invested and maintained.great ski runs, telecabins, fun parks and restaurants. If you're also lucky to have shows and other programs and of course a good weather - its just an unforgettable skiing vacation. Coming back for sure

Huge and varied ski area, with great lift system - first heated lift seats I've ever tried! Recommended for intermediates and advanced.

This our first time to Ischgl and we'll definitely be coming again. There's nothing to dislike. It's so well looked after, got fantastic atmosphere pre, during and apres ski and is all reasonably priced. We're just blown away by it and we're seasoned skiers who have mainly holidayed in France, Switzerland and Italy up until last year. Fantastic!
