Ishgl is a complete hidden gem of a town. At first glance it seems a bit cold with the dominance of the new car parks. But once you are through those and into the town itself, the place comes alive. After visiting many French resorts over the years, you cannot beat the nightlife and ambience of Ischgl. The skiing is... More

First time skiing in Swiss. Honestly there are better resorts and reasonable ones. Here is more or less show up, who and who cannot afford it.

Nice, well maintained area with many tracks and playgrounds for (small) kids. Very nice to take the Silvrettabahn and visit the Schwarzwassersee and Pardatschersee area. All included with the Silvretta Card. Will be back for mountain biking and skiing!

Joined a couple of friends, all seasoned skiers, and they introduced me to this vast skiing area. There are so many ski slopes, there's barely time for lunch if you want to cover them all. Waiting time at the ski lifts is reasonable. The Swiss side is a bit less crowded and offers slopes which I found a bit more... More

This is a top ski area, with very good ski-slopes and very good restaurants and bars, where you can have excellent food while waiting for the kids to come back from the ski-school.

Loved our holiday in Ischgl and we weren't that lucky with the weather. Runs generally very good but mostly blue/red which suited our intermediate-advanced group but it did lack more challenging blacks you tend to get in the French alps. You get to ski into Switzerland on the 'duty free' run but it's not one to do more than once... More

I had my first visit to Ischgl in December and I'll definitely be back. The ski area was great and being able to ski down into Switzerland was a great experience. There's plenty of skiing for all abilites and the Ischgl itself is a great place. It's quite a party town but there are quiet places too.

Thank Bobby C
