This was our second time with this outfitter to visit the Captain Cook monument. Brian was a super guide, with great historical background, and a caring approach our needs, those of others, and to protecting the environment. We learned so much more the second time, and had lots of fun. We went in afternoon, and saw spinner dophins jumping out... More

I wanted to give a shout out to Brian and Jamal our tour guides!! They really cared about our experience and the environment. I'm not an outdoor person but wanted my 13yr daughter to go because she is super adventures. I only snorked for about 10 min because I wasn't feeling well so I told the guides to keep watch... More

Kris, thank you so much for an amazing and memorable day with our family, friends. I grow teary just remembering watching dozens of spinner dolphins descend into the deep on our last drop. Truly memories for a lifetime. Every member of our party had a great experience, even those who didn't go into the ocean. Your enthusiasm and awe for... More

My wife and myself joined the Kealakekua Bay Excursion with Captain Chris & Marylyn in early November. The Excursion was well planned and organized. They were very particular about all the passengers' safety. Simple lunch and drinks were provided during the tour. Chris was very knowledgeable about the ocean in the area. He showed us the dolphins, reefs, caves, etc.... More

This company came to the rescue when no other would. They heard our trip was canceled and like an angel Rassad came out his Boat in specially for us and we were off. Great captain and super knowledgable. Best snorkeling. Saw lots of dolphins and even some rays. Can't that AOE enough for the amazing trip and coming to the... More

Our trip today was amazing! So much so we are giving a huge shout out to Jamal! He was so knowledgable, helpful and truly loves his job. He actually cares about the bay, the Dolphins, the history. We had ourselves and two teenage daughters and he made it fun and relaxing. The lunch was delicious. He is an amazing guide... More

This was the best day we had on our 7-day trip to the big Island. The marine preserve at Kealakahe Bay is everything that is promised - schools of yellow tang, and many other varieties of fish. Captain Chris and Mary Lynn did a great job in the Zodiak raft of getting us out to the preserve quickly, on a... More

This day started out rocky as aloha ocean forgot that the 6 of us had prepaid. We had to sit on the pier for 1 hour waiting for them. We did have a great day with wonderful snorkeling.

BEST SNORKEL TRIP EVER out of 12 we've done in the islands. Our "2-3 hour" trip lasted nearly six hours and included whale-watching, snorkeling with spinner dolphins, and lots of tropical fish at Captain Cook monument. Guide Chris Henry was very friendly, knowledgeable, and FUN to be with! -- Ron and Ann 1/23/16

Aloha Ocean Excursions is by far the ultimate and best outdoor experience in all of the Big Island. The Owner and Host is Chris, who is one of the most fun, enjoyable, down to earth and knowledgeable people I've met in Hawaii, and goes above and beyond to make sure every person has the best experience. I come to the... More
