My wife and I did the snorkeling and whale watching combo, and especially enjoyed the snorkeling. We jumped in the water with pilot whales and watched them swim next to and below us. We also snorkeled right next to the Captain Cook Monument, with really clear water, tons of tropical fish and unique coral galore. We saw bits and pieces... More

Did a last minute whale tour while on a trip to Kona and it was amazing. The crew were great, the whales were awe inspiring, and we appeared to be the only boat out there (rough seas? The swells were pretty high and we got a little drenched)! Highly recommended!

If their boat had wings it would fly from the harbor to the whale watch site. The boat ride is half the fun. Went on whale watch only tour. Small fast boat, only 8-10 passengers. There's no seating, instead there are cushioned backrests and a hold bar, similar to a stand-up roller-coaster. We got out to the site quickly and... More

Don't spend your money on a whale watching or snorkeling tour. Spend it with these guys! The boat is crazy cool, the experience is limited to 8 people so it feels exclusive, and the crew gives you a very personal feel to the adventure. Example - When looking for whales, we ran across a large pod of short-fin pilot whales.... More

This whale watching tour was absolutely fabulous! The ride in the boat is almost more fun then the whale watching experience. If you like fast rides this is the tour for you. Great for all ages.

My husband wanted to see whales....and, boy, did we see whales! Our afternoon whale watching cruise was thrilling-- we have so many pics and videos. Our tour guides were nothing but professional, while still being personable and charismatic. It was obvious that they cared about the whale's safety and well being and knew how to keep the right amount of... More

Had a great day with WHOA. Saw lots of sea life, learned some island history (ask about Captain Cook and the cliffs), can't say more. Get out and give them a try!

Great day hanging out on the water with captain Paul and first mate Darren. The boat's so fast and literally military-spec! We saw dwarf sperm whales, a huge pod of spotted dolphins and mom and newborn calf humpbacks. Paul and Darren were great hosts. Wear comfortable (water soakable) shoes. Mahalo, WHOA!
